    • A QA Tester in the gaming industry is responsible for playing through games to identify and report bugs, glitches, and other issues that could impact gameplay or the user experience.

  2. Do I need specific qualifications to become a QA Tester?

    • While formal qualifications can be beneficial, they are not always necessary. A keen eye for detail, strong problem-solving skills, and a passion for gaming are often more important.

  3. Is previous experience required for a QA Tester role?

    • Experience is helpful but not always required. Depending on our game we'll let you know under the specific game page if requirements are needed.

  4. How important is a QA Tester in the game development process?

    • QA Testers are crucial as they ensure the final product is free from issues and provides a smooth, enjoyable gaming experience for users.

  5. Can a QA Tester Apply remotely?

    • Yes QA Testers are at the moment Volunteers so you can apply remotely, to which is more preferred until we expand our building to have more space for in house QA Testers.

  6. What skills are most important for a QA Tester?

    • Attention to detail, patience, good communication skills, a systematic approach to tasks, and a deep understanding of different game genres and mechanics are vital.

  7. Is being a QA Tester a good way to start a career in the gaming industry?

    • Yes, it’s a great entry point. Many game developers and designers start as QA Testers to gain an understanding of the gaming industry and development process.

  8. How are QA Testers different from game beta testers?

    • QA Testers are professionals working as part of the development team, while beta testers are usually volunteers or members of the public who test the game in its final stages. But As of now our QA Testers are hire up Volunteers, getting keys before beta Testers.

  9. Can I specialize in a particular type of game as a QA Tester?

    • Currently, your expertise can be in any area, as long as you're comfortable with the game's genre and have experience playing similar games. If you meet these criteria, you could be a candidate for receiving a key.

  10. What is the typical career path for a QA Tester?

    • Many QA Testers move into senior QA roles, and from there, they often transition into game development, game design, or project management roles within the industry. Becoming a permanent QA tester means you'll be apart of the GabaGoo Games team as a volunteer and if we have Job positions available, you'll be the first to know.

How To Apply

If you're keen on testing a build of one of our upcoming games before its official release and have the time, simply click the 'Apply Now' button above. Provide us with your details, and we'll send you a key for a platform like Steam or Epic Games to access the game.

If we are hosting an Open Beta Test on Steam, we will not require additional QA Testers for our Beta build. Those interested in participating in the Steam Beta should apply via Steam's system for random key distribution. We wish you the best of luck in securing a key.

If you are a permanent QA tester you'll be apart of our QA team and we'll send you a key without you asking for one. 

18+ and up to Apply, since this could lead to a career down the road if you become a permanent QA Tester.

If you're a dedicated follower of one of our company members, or if you have tested games using 10 different QA keys, you will be granted the status of a Permanent QA Tester. NOTE: Make sure your in our Discord, for the role and Discord its our main source of communication Remotely.
